2014 Season Announce for Artes de la Rosa

Fort Worth, TX – In its ongoing mission to bring Latino theatre, visual arts, & culture to the North Texas Community, Artes de la Rosa is proud to bring to the Rose Marine Theater its 2014 Season. The company will present four theatre productions, including one regional premiere and features the first musical in their continuing American Classic’s Initiative (Previous titles including, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, A View From the Bridge, & The Outsiders). The season will also see a film festival of Peruvian cinema presented in collaboration with the Consulate General of Peru.

The company will continue to present its cultural festivals including Artes Alley, a ‘street fair’ inspired festival in the spring featuring dozens of local artists and live performances on the outdoor stage. The season will conclude with the annual Dia de los Muertos which has continued to be the largest celebration commemorating the Latino holiday in Fort Worth.

“Season announcement time is just like Christmas to me! It’s full of anticipation, excitement, hope, life and family! It seems those are also the themes we will be exploring in our season as well,” said Artistic Director Adam Adolfo. “I’m excited that Artes de la Rosa’s Season features such an exciting and diverse set of titles and stories. From Stephen Sondheim’s beautiful family portrait, to a portrait of a different kind – one painted by an eight year old; from the hysterics of a farce in a Central American country, to the explorations of a young girl on an adventure of her own, Artes de la Rosa’s season is fresh, fascinating, and full of fun for 2014!”

Season Ticket Subscriptions will go on sale December 1st at www.ArtesDeLaRosa.org.
